Here at Lengow, we like to keep you as up to date as possible about all things cross-border. To coincide with the launch of our hotly-anticipated cross-border whitepaper last week, we have created a cross-border infographic.
According to Statista, the international statistics portal, the e-commerce market will be worth $2000 billion dollars by the end of the year. There are over 1.1 billion online shoppers (aged 14 and above) in the world, and in a recent Nielsen study, 57% of survey participants had bought something online from another country in the last 6 months. In terms of market size, Asia-Pacific comes out top (ahead of Europe and North America). However, if you categorise largest e-commerce market by country, the top 3 would feature one country from each of these regions: China dominates, followed by USA, and the UK completes the podium.
