Founded in 1950, Club Med now consists of close to 70 resorts in 30 countries. Find out how the global leader in high end tourism has succeeded in improving its online presence.
Before working with Lengow, Club Med used less dynamic specific feeds that were not quite up to digital standards. The marketing teams did not have any control over the offers they wanted to push online nor did they have any way to update them.
This is the situation they found themselves in when they came to Lengow in January 2017. This major player in the tourism sector uses Lengow to send its product catalogue to price comparison engines (Liligo, Easyvoyage…), and to retargeting and affiliation platforms (Criteo, Eperflex, Webtour…).
With Lengow, Club Med were able to gain access to many distribution channels like price comparison engines that give very good conversion rates with relatively low investment. As a case in point, in 6 months, Club Med carried out €15,000 of online turnover with Easyvoyage.
Currently, Club Med push 400,000 offers on each marketing channel for France, Benelux and Switzerland. The Lengow platform allows Club Med to optimise their feeds, in particular by using the automatic rules, which allow them to segment their product catalogue. Since their integration into Lengow, Club Med’s teams have more independence and can manage the uploading of offers online themselves.
“Lengow has especially allowed us to accelerate our online activity development by sending high quality traffic to our site, thanks to price comparison engines and dynamic display banners for our retargeting campaigns.” – Marie-Lorraine Herrmann, Media Online Senior Manager – Metasearch & Strategic Partnerships European Marketing Department – Africa (EAF)
Therefore, Club Med have been able to simplify the process of distributing their offers to the marketing channels available within Lengow. Since the beginning of the year, Club Med has been able to connect to 6 distributors and 2 apps: ADventori and DoubleClick within the Lengow platform.
