In 2019, the Lengow team travelled all over Europe and even went as far as China to meet clients and introduce our platform to future users. Let’s look back at Lengow Connect in 2019!
Since 2018, we have been connecting with brands and retailers around the world to better understand their challenges and meet their needs. Accompanied by key partners in the sector, we travel to the key countries leading e-commerce to share our advice and use our expertise to help merchants succeed in their (e)commerce activity. Madrid, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Hangzhou, Hong Kong, Milan, London, Barcelona, Munich… here’s a look back on 2019.
This year’s events kicked off March. After the success of our first event in Barcelona in 2018, we packed our bags to head to Spain for a second time a second time in Spain, inaugurating Madrid, the country’s capital!
We were glad to have MakeMeReach (advertising campaign management and optimization platform), Selligent (BtoC automated marketing platform) and Sales Layer (PIM solution) partner with us for the event. MakeMeReach addressed the importance of social networks in e-commerce, Selligent focused on consumer buying behaviour and Sales Layer focused on the importance of product information in the future of retail.
In April, we headed to China for the second year of Lengow Connect China. Over 10 days, our teams travelled across the country to meet Chinese merchants. The aim of this roadshow? To give Chinese retailers the keys to successfully sell their products in Europe, and to increasingly immerse Lengow in a country where (e)commerce is at its peak.
For these events, four partners joined the trip: Dingkun Ecommerce Club, E-Services Group (provider of cross-border e-commerce solutions), JVWEB (e-marketing agency specialized in SEO/SEA), Kuajingpai and YiQi Ecommerce College.
We then made a stopover in Italy in June. For this edition of Lengow Connect Milan, three partners participated: Akeneo (PIM and PXM solutions), Criteo (advertising platform) and Witailer (provider of e-marketplaces solutions). To help Italian brands and retailers in the deployment of their (e)commerce, participants participated in various talks on product experience or improving performance on marketplaces such as Amazon.
In a similar framework to Lengow Connect, we participated in “Connect in the City”, an event dedicated to profitability on marketing channels. Together with six industry players (Payoneer, Amazon, Fruugo, Regional Express, SimplyVAT and ScaleForEtail), we shared all our keys to success for merchants on marketing channels and more specifically marketplaces.
In November we returned to Spain for our second Lengow Connect Barcelona. Our partner Akeneo (PIM and PXM solutions) came back to share advice to optimize the multi-channel product experience. Two other partners joined: Pinterest (visual search engine) and JOOM (mobile marketplace). Specializing in social commerce, these two players spoke about the importance of inspiration in the act of buying and the importance of mobile by involving consumers in social experiences.
We closed this eventful year in Munich where Lengow has already been established for 3 years. On this occasion, our partners Stylight (fashion and lifestyle platform), heidelpay (payment solution) and JOOM (mobile marketplace) discussed the challenges that brands and retailers will face in 2020 and the solutions to meet them, in order to prepare them for the (e)commerce challenges of the future.
2020 promises to be even richer in advice, exchanges and new (e)commerce adventures. For this new year, we want to match your expectations and closer meet your needs! So we can do so, we’ll come to meet you in new cities! To find out more about our Lengow Connect 2020, visit our events page.
