Throughout the morning there will be three round tables addressing the subjects of cross border selling, alternative distribution channels and personalisation in ecommerce, and we are thrilled to have iAdvize, Avalara and World First joining Biglight, Bazaarvoice and Peerius.
iAdvize is a real time online customer service solution (Click to Chat, Click to Call, Click to Video), combined with a behavioural targeting engine. Chosen by more than 1000 companies throughout Europe, iAdvize adds a human touch to online customer service and increases conversion rates and optimises customer satisfaction and loyalty. The company will be sharing tips on how you can do this too during our personalisation round table.
With increasing cross border trade and international growth, it makes sense to outsource and automate transactional taxes that incorporate various rates across multiple geographies. Avalara will be giving more insights on this during our cross border selling round table.
Avalara is a leading cloud-based tax and compliance automation technology provider, supporting tens of thousands of businesses in more than 100 countries worldwide.
They help make VAT and sales tax compliance simple and automatic. The company determines taxability, applicable tax rates, prepares and files returns, remits taxes, maintains tax records and manages tax exemption certificates.
Avalara’s mission: to help businesses of all sizes achieve compliance through comprehensive, automated, cloud-based solutions that are fast, accurate and easy to use.
If you trade overseas on ecommerce marketplaces, you’ll need to find a way of converting payments back into your own currency. World First sets up accounts in the UK, France, Germany, Canada, Australia and the USA to receive payments and save customers between 0.5% and 3% of their total amount transferred. Find out more from them at our cross border ecommerce round table.
When: Thursday 6th November 2014, 9am to 2pm
Where: The Royal Society of Chemistry, Burlington House, Piccadilly, London W1J 0BA
Tickets are FREE for emerchants!
