Google Shopping is a channel for selling products that has been been recommended by industry experts like Lengow CEO Mickael Froger and analyzed deeply in high-quality guides like Lengow’s whitepaper which has been praised by Googlers themselves.
If you aren’t already reaching e-shoppers who use Google Shopping to find products for better prices and at locations near them quickly thanks to Google’s search, there’s always room for you to join the club.
If you are selling on Google Shopping (via the API on the Lengow solution or not), there is something important to keep in mind in the coming weeks.

On September 15, Google Shopping will undergo some changes and you need to make updates to be ready for them.
The complete list of updates and countries which are impacted by the mcan be found on the 2015 Google Shopping Feed Specification and Google Product Taxonomy Update page on the Google Merchant Center.
Whether you are in the UK, the USA or other countries where Google Shopping operates in, you’ll have to pay attention to the constantly growing Designated Brand list.
As Lengow Marketing & Partnership Director Frédéric Clément mentioned this week, Google’s Product Inventory feed is already available on Lengow.

Search specialists from SearchEngineLand.com also recently reviewed some of the key updates, such as the stricter rules for ID Attributes and GTINs. Another notable change is the brand new list of Google Product Category IDs.
As the Lengow team always wants online retailers to know about important tips, this is a reminder that your Google Shopping setup needs to be done correctly in September after you go on your summer vacation.
