Lengow Day 2019, Europe’s premium e-commerce conference, will centralise around European marketplaces and sales channels. Thanks to an extensive partner network of marketplaces, price comparison engines and many other channels, Lengow is inviting all the major e-commerce players to a special location in Paris on 1st October 2019. These channels will be supported by a few carefully selected service providers, to create an interesting synergy. The event will be open exclusively to European retailers. Find out more…
Online marketplaces account for some of the most important and exciting aspects of e-commerce – current and future. 96% of e-shoppers have already made at least one purchase at least once on a marketplace, and in 2018 alone sales on marketplaces accounted for 52% of global online sales. Moreover, marketplaces are the perfect way to showcase a product catalogue abroad – international sales see success more easily, and significantly more quickly.
This year Lengow Day will bring together the most important and coveted European marketing channels and European retailers. These channels include essential global marketplaces such as eBay and Rakuten, as well as country-specific channels from France (Cdiscount, Fnac/Darty, BHV, La Redoute, Nature & Découvertes etc.), the United Kingdom (Fruugo, Secret Sales etc.), Germany (Zalando, Real.de, idealo etc.), Italy (ePrice etc.) and Poland (Allegro). Joom, one of the most successful mobile marketplaces internationally will also be present for European brands and retailers who wish to exchange and establish contact. The partner range is rounded off by the operational readiness level of the European price comparison portal Kelkoo, which is present in 19 countries.
For online brands and retailers looking to promote their cross-border e-business, Lengow Day is the perfect occasion to network directly with the most important sales channels in Europe. Particularly for UK retailers who wish to sell online in France, this event is a good starting point. The “Lengow Lab”, a corner where interested parties can learn about international marketplaces, new platforms and cross-border e-commerce, is also new this year.
To complement our Channel Corner, carefully selected European e-commerce service providers will also be on site. Akeneo, Smartly.io, heidelpay, MakeMeReach and JVWEB offer brands and retailers their tips and tricks to create a successful e-commerce strategy. Smartly.io and MakeMeReach advise on successful online/offline strategies,, heidelpay Group knows the latest trends in payment and Akeneo knows all about PIM and intelligent product data solutions. JVWEB shares its expertise in SEA and SEO.
In addition, Smartly.io, Rakuten and Google will host three thematic workshops. Details to follow.
