After a great success in 2015, Lengow Ecommerce Day is back for another year, with an international “cross border e-commerce” focus. The programme for this year will include twice as much expertise, exchanging of tips and tricks and double the enjoyment! See you on September 27th, in the Eurosites Georges V in Paris!
Still hesitant about buying a ticket? Take a look at our five reasons why you don’t want to miss out:
This year, the Lengow Ecommerce Day is centred around the theme of ‘cross border ecommerce’ to help online retailers boost their businesses internationally. Speakers, partners and guests will be coming from all over the world, including Europe, China, and Russia.
To discuss issues surrounding internationalisation, and to identify current and future e-commerce trends, Lengow has put together a European committee: Jerome Bouteiller (Independent Journalist), Daniela Zimmer (Director of E-commerce – Internet World Business), Chris Dawson (Editor – Tamebay), Benoît Gaillat (Associate Director – Skeelbox) and Elodie Vigneron (Head of Communication – Lengow).
In keeping with the cross-border theme, Lengow Ecommerce Day will begin with a round table opening called “Tour of Europe’s E-commerce Associations”. Hosted by Martin Groß-Albenhausen (BEVH), Roberto Liscia (Netcomm), Jose-Luis Zimmerman (Adigital), James Roper (IMRG) and Bertrand Pineau (Fevad), this event will be an excellent opportunity to discuss the latest developments in global e-commerce and the legislative constraints of an internationalisation strategy. These experts will address, in particular, the issue of co-operation between various European countries.
To provide a better overview of international ecommerce, and to help categorise the events, they will be split into 4 main themes: cross-border, cross-data, cross-device and cross-channel. Our speakers will deliver tips and tricks to launch your business internationally, streamline your customer buying experience, develop an efficient cross-data strategy, and improve your understanding of the potential of cross-device data.
To discuss these topics, various types of workshops and talks will be on offer: keynote speeches, panels, success stories and expertise exchanges. Bringing together many experts on the same theme, the panels will provide a great opportunity to debate on key e-commerce trends. With the success stories, discover best practices and benefit from retailer experience feedback. The expertise exchanges will also host major international players, such as Tony Qiu (General Manager – Jd.worldwide, Jd.com), Dominik Johnson (Key Account Development Director – Yandex), and Olivier Javier K’Danet (Client Partner Ecommerce – Facebook) .
Bringing together 350 influential figures in e-commerce, this day will also be the opportunity for you to meet people and talk with stakeholders. Among these are Ben Greenaway (Senior Omnichannel Manager – Adidas), Marc Ménasé (CEO & Founder – Menlook), Alexandra Chiaramonti (Advertising Strategy Director – Criteo) and Maxime Zablot (Business Developer – Cdiscount). A unique opportunity to share experiences, develop your professional network, and boost your business activity.
