This week we spoke to their director, Jonny Small, to find out more about his views on the Lengow solution and ecommerce in general.

What is the importance of ecommerce in your business in terms or revenue? (Offline vs online)

Our offline store was established over 30 years ago. Entering the online market has enabled us to significantly broaden our reach.

Which online distribution channels do you currently position yourselves on and why? (Marketplaces, price comparison engines…)

Currently we are using eBay, Amazon and Google Shopping, as these are the channels we are most familiar with. However, we are looking into expanding on to other channels.

If you are selling internationally, which markets are most important to you and why?

Yes, we are selling internationally, our biggest market is the UK, followed by Australia, US and France.

What ecommerce challenges were you faced with in terms of managing your online product catalogue?

Previously we were only selling online via our website. It was difficult to reach people and generate traffic to the site.

Why did you choose Lengow? (Ease of use, choice of channels, support network, price…)

The solution was clearly explained to us and the set up was easy.

How does Lengow improve your ecommerce business management? What are the most significant results? (Please provide figures if possible)

Lengow enables us to sell on channels almost without effort. The solution helps us reach more customers and sell on international markets.
We launched our online store in April 2014 and started using Lengow in June 2014, and within 6 months were selling to customers in over 65 countries!

What are your ecommerce objectives for 2015 and what trends are you most excited about? (New markets, new channels)

We are aiming to export to more countries and increase the volume of sales in countries we are currently present in, especially as the World Cup is taking place this year! One of the ways we aim to achieve this is by expanding on to new distribution channels.
