The seventh edition of Lengow Day is just around the corner! Retailers, brands, marketplaces and marketing channels—come and meet the key actors of Europe’s e-commerce ecosystem on 1st October in Paris.
What’s on the agenda for this year’s event? We’ll explore the e-commerce of today and design the e-commerce of tomorrow. We will look at current and future market trends and discuss the marketing strategies and channels to be adopted to succeed in this ever-changing market. Read on to find out more about the keynotes, round tables and workshops planned for Lengow Day 2019.
The future of retail will be the first topic of the day. Hosted by Michelle Beeson (Analyst serving E-Business & Channel Strategy Professionals – Forrester), this keynote will address the importance for brands and distributors to focus their attention on the customer to respond to two developments: consumer behaviour and the technologies they use. The key? Adapt quickly and regularly to these new challenges and demonstrate agility to successfully attract and retain customers.
In today’s hyperconnected world, consumers now have more choice than ever in their shopping journey. One-click payment same-day delivery and so on, today purchasing is instantaneous, however consumers’ buying decisions are much less so. We’re pleased to welcome Amy Vener (Head of Retail Strategy – Pinterest) on stage to discuss this topic and share her advice to help brands inspire consumers as much as possible.
Online and offline retail no longer holds any secrets for many market players. It is now time to seize new opportunities and meet changing consumer expectations. Which strategy should be adopted? What are the keys to success? Ilya Shirokov (Co-founder & Chairman – Joom) and Albert Simsensohn (Head of Commerce EMEA – Facebook) explore this topic.
Physical stores are the new playground for pureplayers. Thanks to data and supply chain, physical stores are becoming an extension for e-merchants to make the most of both worlds to provide a smarter, better, faster and more connected experience for consumers. Discover how key actors offer a seamless online and offline shopping experience.
What impact do marketplaces have on the e-commerce ecosystem? What will the future look like for marketplaces? From the United States to Asia to Europe, discover how marketplaces are transforming consumer buying habits and seller strategies. Hosting this roundtable, we welcome Thomas Métivier (Marketplace, International, Strategy and Innovation Director – Cdiscount), Theodore Hettich (Chief Sales Officer – Fruugo) and Michał Iwanciw (Market Director – Allegro).
In addition to these conferences, we’ll also be hosting thematic workshops in the afternoon. On this occasion Rakuten, Google, Smartly and the Lengow teams will share their tips and best practices to succeed on Rakuten, Shopping Actions (Buy on Google), Facebook, not forgetting Lengow’s platform.
Join us at Lengow Day 2019 to meet the key players of e-commerce in Europe.
