Lengow has formed a partnership with shopware AG, one of the leading online shop systems in Europe. Thanks to this collaboration, Shopware users will be able to use Lengow’s platform to distribute their product catalogue more easily and efficiently to different online channels around the world.
Shopware is an open source ecommerce application and the leading solution in the German market. Shopware’s scalability, modular basis, and range of features provide businesses with the ultimate platform for growth. Thanks to an ongoing dialogue with its widespread community, Shopware remains close to customers’ needs, connecting them with the most modern platform on the market. After nearly two decades in business, Shopware is the trusted solution for over 54,000 international online stores, ranging from small businesses to global corporate enterprises.
As a new partner, Shopware is now connecting their software with the Lengow platform. An installed interface, in the form of a plugin, will connect the systems together. Shopware users will then be able to export their product catalogues through the Lengow platform, allowing their product catalogue to be automatically accommodated. The plugin is automatically connected to the Lengow platform. When users log in for the first time on the Lengow platform, there’s a synchronisation with their shopware store and a catalogue detection.
Here’s what you need to know when using Lengow with Shopware: firstly, the plugin is compatible with Shopware version 4.3 to 5.2. The Lengow plugin also needs to be downloaded in the Shopware Store. You will receive a license key with which you can activate the plugin in your plugin manager in the Shopware back office. The Lengow options are then available under the Configuration area. Here, you can access the Lengow programme, where you can create your personal account. Now you can start exporting your product catalogue, and select from up to 1,800 online channels for your products to be sold on.
By partnering with Lengow, Shopware users can explore a new way of global multi-channeling. Mickael Froger, CEO at Lengow, said:
“We want to expand our range of ecommerce services, by continuously developing software to meet the shifting needs of our customers. The new partnership with Shopware is a strategically important step, allowing Lengow to be more present in the German market. Shopware is a strong, well known partner, which will allow us to better establish our ecommerce platform in the German speaking market and develop new target groups.”
Stefan Hamann, CEO at Shopware AG, also gave a very positive comment about the collaboration:
“Shopware users can now use Lengow to handle global campaigns as easily and profitably as possible. We are delighted with this promising partnership.”
