We caught up with Annaelle Maige, Lengow’s Business Development Team Manager (FR/UK)!

1/ Can you tell us a bit about yourself?

Hi, I’m Annaëlle, I’m 30 years old and I entered the world of sales almost 7 years ago. I started out as an advertising manager. I then spent 5 years at affilinet/Awin as a Sales Assistant, Key Account Sales Manager and finally Team Manager. I have been in charge of Business Development for Lengow’s FR & UK teams for 1 year now. My daily mission is to help and support the Business Developers in their success and development at Lengow.

2/ What characterises the job of Business Developer at Lengow?

Business Development at Lengow is stimulating and challenging in many ways.

  • Firstly, we address a variety of targets which allows each Business Developer to search for prospects without restrictions.
  • Let’s say you’re a fan of snow sports… you’re free to go ahead and target e-merchants who are working in this sector.
  • The power of the tool: Lengow’s platform is constantly evolving in order to meet the specific needs of our customers and adapting to market developments.
  • Our value proposition allows us to meet both technical and business needs, with a premium service level.
  • The variety of sales: from short cycle (a few weeks) to long cycle (several months), each client’s project is different and will take you out of your comfort zone. Business developers learn every day at Lengow and are constantly progressing.

4/ What kind of Business Developer are you looking for to join your team?

A hunter at heart, who likes a challenge and is interested in tech solutions. At Lengow, you have to be inquisitive!

Beyond the profile, I’m looking for a personality and lots of motivation. Each member of the team brings their own contribution, and is proactive. Good ideas are more than welcome!

5/ Anything else you’d like to add?

The latest news (strikes, COVID-19) have shown the importance and necessity for companies to start or accelerate their online development.

When you consider that only 10% of e-merchants use a feed management solution, this leaves Lengow with plenty of opportunity. It’s up to you! 😉
