In today’s blog post, we catch up with Magdi Aly Maghrabi, Customer Developer in Lengow’s Paris office.
Hi, I’m Magdi! I’m of Egyptian origin but I grew up in Nantes where I spent my childhood following the exploits of the Canaries! Ever since my Erasmus year in the South of Italy, I love Italian culture and cuisine. I’m passionate about current affairs, social events, and, more than watching crime series!
I worked for 3 and a half years in the technical support team in Nantes on both the French and Italian markets. Coming from Customer Relationship Management, I acquired a strong technical knowledge of the platform and discovered the interesting world of e-commerce through this experience. I wanted to move on to a more commercial position and that’s how I became a Customer Developer (previously Account Manager). I’ve been working in this position for almost two years now in the superb Parisian premises… Yes, I’ve come all the way from Nantes → Paris, what a pleasure! 🙂
As a Customer Developer, I manage around 100 French, Italian, and English clients from Lengow’s portfolio. My objective is to accompany them in their development thanks to the different partners we offer on the platform. I have to advise them on all the levers offered by the platform (marketplaces, acquisition channels, apps, etc.), and the optimizations that are likely to boost their business. I have to ensure that everything is going well since I manage the customer relationship.
I work with all the company’s departments: support for all technical requests, tech to improve the platform’s functionalities, the back office for all administrative aspects, legal for everything related to contracts and marketing and communication for everything related to events in the Lengow ecosystem.
I work primarily with clients who are mostly e-commerce managers or project managers. I am also in contact with all Lengow partners to facilitate exchanges with customers.
It’s got to be Johnny Hallyday’s Vivre pour le meilleur (Living for the best)!
